This thing called Hope really does have wings.
Instead of fragile, Hope can be as delicate and gentle as the wings of a flutterby, bearing enough stamina to fly thousands of miles in a season, resting when needed, resuming when ready with renewed energy.
Wings of Hope can also be as broad, powerful, and influential as a mighty dragon.
Be it small-scale (solo) or large-scale (humanity coming together as a whole), resilience is key.
π¦Faith is the Fire that fuels Hope.
π¦Action is the Air Hope needs to breathe.
π¦Persistence plants seeds of Hope so the Earth may nurture and bear fruit.
π¦Love, fluid like Water, is a basic need and critical resource that gives Hope life.
In these ways, Hope is simply Elemental.
Groovy, soulful Saturday! I Hope the rain holds off today until after I cut the grass. πππ
Pics are from all over Florida, including my yard (Citrus County), Gainesville Butterfly Exhibit, and various hikes where flutterbys paused long enough for a colorful capture.
Hi SWLeft,
Please stay positive in the midst of everything. We all need to go left. You might someday take a look at Viktor Franklβs βManβs Search for Meaningβ. I once got in an argument with Elle Wiesel about Frankl. Wiesel thought he was βtoo positive while in a concentration campβ. How does one remain positive in a concentration camp? Anyway, this is more than you want to hear. Like I say, keep up your spirits. They can be catchy. Thanks. Duke

Thank you for your encouragement and confirmation Duke. It’s a healthy lifestyle habit, and I make a conscious effort to be as hopeful and positive as consistently as I can. My wisdom has also taught me to set boundaries. I no longer “fake it until I feel it.” If I am in a funky mood, I allow myself the freedom to experience all the emotions I need to feel. I let close companions know when I am that way and need my space. My misery, though rare, does not like company!
And thanks for the suggestion, I will learn about Frankl. π₯° Blessed be β
